:+fav:

Tobias,
I am new here :) This is an excellent shot. Even rays around the sun, very nice overall temperature, rising morning sun, very nice blur on the water (is that from an ND filter or a high aperture/slow shutter combo?), and what seems to be legitimate, or near legitimate colors. I get sick of many pictures today that are manually saturated with color and contrast to the point that they look like a Walt Disney movie introduction. Great Shot.. would like to stand beside you one day!!

Thanks! The slow shutter comes from aperture + polarizer.

Tobias, that's kool. I use Daisee Variable Neutral Density (ND) Pro DMC Slims for these effects if it is too bright. It seems like the light was working for you just right. I really like that shot. What is your mode of capture…RAW? How large is the master?

This is a truly spectacular photograph. So clear yet it's a long exposure to get the water flow. The sunlight looks like the bright star that it is but the rays in that shape are amazing. Where exactly is this is? There's a lot of space to cover in the Jura. We live nearby on the Swiss side. I'd love to see this waterfall in person sometime.

Nice and interesting composition! I like the way several different objects are arranged and set into focus: the edge in the foreground, the impressive waterfall in the centre and the sun shining through the trees!

You also got good and clear colours which makes the whole picture appear very vivid and interesting. I especially like the differnt green colours of the forest and the moss.

Well done!
