Cascade de Tuf by TobiasRichter Cascade de Tuf by TobiasRichter
Morning sunlight glimmers through the forests of the ‘Reculée des Planches’ in the French Jura Mountains. The river Cuisance flows into a waterfall that is pouring down the ‘Cascade de Tuf’.

:+fav:

Tobias,
I am new here :) This is an excellent shot. Even rays around the sun, very nice overall temperature, rising morning sun, very nice blur on the water (is that from an ND filter or a high aperture/slow shutter combo?), and what seems to be legitimate, or near legitimate colors. I get sick of many pictures today that are manually saturated with color and contrast to the point that they look like a Walt Disney movie introduction. Great Shot.. would like to stand beside you one day!!

Thanks! The slow shutter comes from aperture + polarizer.

Tobias, that's kool. I use Daisee Variable Neutral Density (ND) Pro DMC Slims for these effects if it is too bright. It seems like the light was working for you just right. I really like that shot. What is your mode of capture…RAW? How large is the master?
