Only during noon reaches sunlight the ground of the deep Canyon ‘Gargante Verde’ in southern Spain. The river ‘Arroyo de Barcaleones’ has cut about 400-meter deep into the rock. The picture shows the view of the dried up riverbed and was taken from inside the 'Cueva de la Ermita'. The canyon is a lush green oasis despite the episodic river flow.
