Gollinger Mill by TobiasRichter Gollinger Mill by TobiasRichter
Hallein, Austria
Autumn 2012

After numerous arduous hikes during the last 4 weeks I'm proud to present a lot of new work. I traveled through the Eastern Alps: from Switzerland to South Tyrol and the Dolomites to Slovenia. I'll upload them here on DA during the next days. In the last part of my Alp series 2012 I present pictures from the Slovenian Triglav National Park. The azure streams and the autumnal colorful beech groves create an impressive natural spectacle. English descriptions and more shoots will follow soon!

Beautiful shot of an old mill and waterfall. We still have these old mills in the US but they are few and far between. Great picture, as are all of the pics you have posted. If you can make them higher resolution that would be really great. I'm probably going to be buying a print of one of the bigger shots in landscape orientation of the mountain range that you have here. Great photos, I bet you had a memorable time on that hike. I wish I wasn't so messed up. I would be out doing the same here where I am.

Danke!

Absolutely beautiful! I feel like I just want to run into those woods and never come back!

Is it haunted ;p

Can I ask you a little question? How on earth do you get that effect with the water? I have tried everything and I cant get it to go like that :(

Thanks! You have to use a ND Filter and a polarizer or low aperture and a polarizer to get a longer Exposure and to get the reflection out of the water.

I don't think so. The dynamic range of a CR2 @ 550D would be enough, too. You should admit his skills. ;)
