This is a photo of a perfect reflection of the Mont Blanc Massif in the ‘Lac de Chérsery”. On that evening in October, the water of the lake only remained completely calm for a few minutes offering me this tremendous photo opportunity. Starting from left to right, the photo allows one’s gaze to wander from the Auigelle Verte to the Grande Jurasse and main peak of the Mont Blanc.
This is absolutely breathtaking! The composition is great! The reflection is great! The panorama is great! The bottom of the mountain has created an amazing abstract pattern which really stands out. You have a specific eye and flare in all your images which really catch people's attention! The contrast between the rock, ice, water and the sky really work well and compliment each other. You have a great eye to capture all your beautiful landscapes that you have done. i love your galleries. Keep up the good work. And have fun with your 5D Mark II. I look forward to seeing more wonderful and inspiring works from you.
Absolutely fantastic shot here; the rugged terrain of the mountains is such a striking contrast to the clear, smooth reflection it leaves on the unmarked body of water. I also adore the vivid warmth of the terracotta land sandwiched between the the icy, cold blues of the sky and its imprint on the water. Admittedly, the concept of this photo has been brought to life more times than I would care to count, but it's rarely pulled off as flawlessly as this. The composition is gorgeous and the way the warmer colours peter away into black is a very nice touch. All in all, a wonderful piece that reminds us just how magnificent the world can be, provided we look in the right places.
